LOGIN/ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

How Do I Log in to the ASC’s CytoCE Center?

You can log on to the CytoCE Center Web site anytime from any computer by clicking “Log in” at the top right corner of the page and entering your ASC username and password. 

What if I Forget My Username or Password?

If you have forgotten your ASC Login and Password, click here to have it emailed to you. If you are not a member and would like to apply for ASC membership, please click here.  You may also contact the ASC National Office at asc@cytopathology.org or (302) 543-6583 for assistance.

How Do I Change My Email Address, Phone Number, Or Other Personal Information?

You can edit your personal information by going to the ASC main site and logging in to your account.

What browsers work best for accessing the CytoCE Center?

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the preferred browsers.

What if I use Internet Explorer?

Some Internet Explorer users have reported issues logging into the CytoCE Center. If you do not have access to another browser and you receive an “Invalid Session” error when attempting to log in, close Internet Explorer to clear the cookies, reopen Internet Explorer and log in again.

COURSES

How Do I Take A Course?

Select a course from the CytoCE Center course catalog and complete checkout (if necessary). Once you enroll in the course, you can access it at any time under “My Account” in the "My Activities" section.

To begin a course, click the "Take Course" button and review the instructions on your screen. AS you progress through the course material, you will be prompted to complete a quiz (if applicable) and fill out a brief course evaluation in order to obtain your certificate. 

Do I Have To Complete A Course In One Sitting?

No, you do not need to complete any of our activities in a single sitting. You can review the course material at your own speed and wherever you like. You can resume a partially completed course any time before the course expiration date by logging in to your CytoCE Center account, clicking on "My Activities" and selecting the course of your choice from your pending activities. Then click "Take Course" and "Resume Course" to return to wherever you previously left off.

When Does My Course Expire?

The expiration dates of all courses are listed in the course description. You can review the expiration dates of purchased courses by logging in to your account and accessing the “My Activities” section to review your list of pending activities. Select a course from the list to view the course description page. If the page is inaccessible, the course has already expired.

What Happens If I Don’t Pass An Exam?

To pass an exam, you must achieve a score of 80% or higher. However, if you do not pass an exam, the questions you have answered incorrectly will be identified. You can review the course material and reattempt the exam as many times as required to achieve a passing score.

Interested In Submitting a Course or Volunteering for an ASC Committee

The ASC invites you to be an active particpant in these educational activities by submiting an interesting Case Study or a Cell Talks presentation.  Case Studies are reviewed by the Web Site Committee and Cell Talks are reveiwed by the Cytopathology Program Directors Committee. Learn more about the submission guidelines for each at the links above.

Are you interested in volunteering for an ASC Committee? Complete the Volunteer form. Committees are  appointed in September and all terms start during the ASC Business Meeting at the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting.

CERTIFICATES/TRANSCRIPTS

Where Are My Certificates?

After you successfully complete a course, you can immediately download and print your certificate.

For easy reference, a transcript of your course history and certificates are maintained in your CytoCE Center account and can be conveniently accessed and reprinted anytime from any computer. Log into your account and click on the “My Account” section. Select “My Activities” to view a list of all courses that you have completed.

How Can I Print A Transcript Of My Activities?

How Can I Add Credits I Received from Other Organizations? 

To track all of your credits, you can now add credits received from other organizations (i.e., ASCP, USCAP, CAP, ASCT, etc.).  Log in to your account and click on the “My Account” section. Select “My Activities” under the “External credits” tab, click “Add credits” and enter the Course name, date completed and credit hours earned. You also have the option of uploading a certificate.
