Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Solid and Cystic Pancreatic Lesions: A Review

The webinar will encompass slide review and extensive pictorial reviews of solid and cystic pancreatic lesions. Morphologic features needed for diagnosing these lesions will be discussed. Review of cell blocks as well as ancillary testing currently used for some of these diagnostic entities will also be addressed.

This educational activity is designed for pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students and other members of the cytopathology community.

- Evaluate and assess aspirate samples from pancreatic solid lesions
- Evaluate and assess aspirate samples from pancreatic cystic lesions
- Cytology with understanding of current practices prevalent in signing out pancreatic aspirates
- Triage pancreatic mucinous cysts appropriately for additional testing if needed
