PEC for Fellows
The Progressive Evaluation of Competency (PEC) for Cytopathology Fellows Program offers three online exams over the fellowship year that will track a fellow’s baseline, mid-year and final level of knowledge, and overall competency in cytopathology.  Topics covered will include:  Gynecological, Non-Gynecological, FNA, and Laboratory Operations.

2025-2026 PEC for Cytopathology Fellows Exam Dates
Pre-Exam       July 21, 2025 - August 4, 2025
Mid-Exam       December 1, 2025 - December 15, 2025
Final Exam     May 4, 2026 - May 18, 2026
