ACE UNIVERSITY - Inspection Readiness: What to Expect and How to Prepare
The Advanced Cytopathology Education University (ACE U) is a joint initiative from ASC and the American Society for Clinical pathology (ASCP) through the ASC-ASCP Workgroup designed for cytotechnologists who wish to distinguish themselves in the field and provide evidence of training and experience to share with employers. The program guides participants through specific criteria to demonstrate knowledge and achievement in different advanced topics. The program requires participants to progressively build knowledge through participation in specific educational activities. Please note: Information on this course may not be the most up-to-date. Please verify with accrediting agencies.
This educational activity is designed for pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students and other members of the cytopathology community.
- Provide an overview of the regulatory and accreditation requirements applicable to cytology laboratories
- Share key inspection readiness strategies based on the most frequently cited deficiencies in cytology laboratories
